Yun Gee penned “The Chinese Artist and the World of Tomorrow” in the mid-1920s, a few years after settling in America. In it, he proposed two goals: embrace Western influences to make Chinese art more universally relevant for the twentieth century and promote Chinese philosophical principles for the betterment of the world.
