Balthus 1908~2001

Balthasar Klossowski de Rola, known as Balthus, was a Polish-French modern artist. He is known for his erotically charged images of pubescent girls, but also for the refined, dreamlike quality of his imagery. Throughout his career, Balthus rejected the usual conventions of the art world. Wikipedia

バルテュス（Balthus, 1908年2月29日 - 2001年2月18日）は、フランスの画家。本名はバルタザール・ミシェル・クロソウスキー・ド・ローラ (Balthasar Michel Klossowski de Rola) 。ピカソはバルテュスを「二十世紀最後の巨匠」と称えている。

【巴黎隨筆｜有關巴爾杜斯的正反藝評】

　巴爾杜斯（Balthus）這位被譽為「20世紀最後的古典畫家」從不跟隨潮流，他的特立獨行使他的一生被染上神祕的色彩。最近在瑞士巴塞爾的貝耶勒基金會（la FondationBeyeler）舉辦巴爾杜斯特展，聚集了公私立收藏約五十餘件作品。對一個一生不出三百件作品的畫家來說，這已經很可觀。10月分的《美術》（Beaux Arts）雜誌有篇報導文章，很有趣，呈現對巴爾杜斯正反兩面不同的意見。
