On Sunday, November 27th, 1960, Yves Klein distributed in the Parisian kiosks The Newspaper of a Single Day, which he designed entirely for his participation in the theatrical performances of the Festival of avant-garde art organized by Le Corbusier and Jacques Polieri. The artist takes this Sunday to present "an ultimate form of collective theater".
On the first page, a photograph of the Leap into the void is titled: "A man in space!"
It introduces the artist throwing himself, while, in the street, a cyclist moves away, indifferent.
