After years of planning, construction, renovation and restoration, the Harvard Art Museums are about to reopen under one incredible, shining glass roof. Take a look inside.
The renovated and expanded Harvard Art Museums will unite the Fogg Museum, the Busch-Reisinger Museum, and the Arthur M. Sackler Museum in a new building designed by Italian architect Renzo Piano.
Opening Sunday this is the new Harvard Art Museums, a collaboration by Renzo Piano Building Workshop and Payette that consolidates Harvard’s original three art museum spaces while promoting scholarship and their 250,000 collection of art.
