Eugène Louis Boudin (French: [budɛ̃]; 12 July 1824 – 8 August 1898) was one of the first Frenchlandscape painters to paint outdoors. Boudin was a marine painter, and expert in the rendering of all that goes upon the sea and along its shores. His pastels, summary and economic, garnered the splendid eulogy of Baudelaire; and Corot called him the "king of the skies".[1]
We wish you all a nice week-end with "Trouville Beach" by Eugène Boudin. And as every first sunday of the month, the Museum and its exhibition will be free on December 7th.
