We house the only specialist public collection in the UK, and ESCALA currently consists of about 740 artworks – dating from 1600 to the present day, although about 95 per cent were produced after 1950 – and 4,000 archival items.
Plus our Albert Sloman Library houses 8,000+ books on the art of Latin America make it the leading national collection.
