“At first, I wanted to be a carpenter. My parents extended their house on several occasions, so it seemed that there was always a carpenter working in the house. As a child, I would pick up the small leftover pieces of wood to make something out of them, like a model train or a building. Perhaps it has to do with the education my parents gave me, but I hate to throw things away. I guess, then, that I have a natural predisposition to reuse things.”
